Silsurf Di-1010 is a 100% active silicone with polyether terminal groups. Silsurf Di-1010
is self emulsifying in water and dispersible in many solvents. Silsurf Di-1010 has an INCI
name of PEG-10 Dimethicone.
Silsurf Di-1010 is end-blocked with an active hydroxyl group that can be added to various organic systems to improve surface properties such as mar resistance, anti-blocking and softness. It is used to provide lubricity for fibres and metals. Silsurf Di-1010 can also be reacted with organic polymers such as polyurethane.
