CAB-O-SIL TS-530 fumed silica has a surface that has been treated with hexamethyldisilazane (HMDZ). This treatment replaces hydroxyls on the surface of the silica, resulting in increased hydrophobicity and very different performance features than untreated silica. Recommended use: Various, Rheological control, Flow agent, Thickening agent, Reinforcing agent in: Coatings, Adhesives and/or sealants, Inks and toners, Silicone Elastomer, Rubber products, Dispersion, Suspension, Paints, Cosmetics, Hygiene and sanitary products.
