ANDEROL FRD #2 is a conventional, mineral oil based lubricant, specifically designed for locked coil ropes used on friction winders (Koepe Hoists). It is also an excellent rope dressing for elevator ropes. ANDEROL FRD #2 has a high coefficient of friction and offers excellent water resistance and corrosion protection. It provides a chemical barrier against acidic and alkaline environments that can damage the rope.
